Orders & MOQ (Minimum Ordering Quantities)
Our recommended minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 500 decks. However, we understand that some customers may require a smaller quantity. In such cases, we are able to accommodate MOQ as low as 200 decks.
At CPPS, we strive to provide high quality products while keeping production costs in mind. Fixed costs, such as design fees, equipment depreciation, and setup fees, are important factors that contribute to the pricing of each deck.
It’s worth noting that by increasing the MOQ, we can spread these fixed costs over a larger number of units, resulting in lower unit costs. However, we are more than happy to work with customers who require smaller quantities, ensuring they receive the same level of quality and service as those with larger orders.
If you have specific requirements or would like to discuss your order quantity further, please contact us or visit our card customization page for more information. We are here to assist you and offer pricing options to meet your needs.
Of course! Before you order the cards, you have the option to request a proof or sample of your own design. However, please note that there is a cost associated with obtaining the sample.
We offer two proofing options: Digital Copy Proof and Hard Copy Proof.
The Digital Copy Proof is an inexpensive option that is printed using digital printing technology. It’s important to note that the colors on this proof may appear darker compared to the final production run.
The Hard Copy Proof, on the other hand, is offset printed on the same press that will be used for the actual production run. This option ensures a high level of color accuracy and image reproduction.
If you are concerned about color accuracy, especially when converting RGB colors on the screen to CMYK colors for printing, we recommend the Hard Copy Proof. The exact cost of the proof will be quoted based on the details of your order.
Please note that we will not print an order without a proof. Once we have processed your order, we will email you a digital PDF proof for your review. It is important that you carefully check the accuracy of all content on the final proof, as you will be fully responsible for any errors or discrepancies.
Let us know if you have any questions or if there’s anything else we can do to help.
We are pleased to offer you a selection of free stock samples for quality evaluation. To proceed, please provide us with the following information: your name, email address, full address including zip code, and phone number.
Once we receive your information, we will promptly prepare a variety of cards with different paper stocks and finishes according to your request.
Please note that there is a $50 express fee in most area associated with sending the samples, and they will be shipped using reliable services such as DHL or FedEx.
While we do not make direct changes to clients’ design files or provide copy editing services, we do offer setup assistance by providing templates and layout guides. We aim to ensure that your files are ready to be printed as they come in.
Typically, we recommend that you set up the file yourself after reviewing our Technical Guide, which provides detailed instructions.
In addition, we will generate a digital proof PDF file for your review and approval prior to mass production.

When it comes to printing custom playing cards, it’s important to use the correct color mode to ensure the best quality results. The recommended color mode for printing is CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key/Black), while RGB (Red, Green, and Blue) is primarily used for web-based applications.
Submitting a file in RGB format for printing can result in color variations and a lack of accuracy in the final product. This is because RGB and CMYK have different color gamuts, meaning that colors displayed in RGB may not be accurately reproduced in CMYK. RGB colors tend to be more vivid and have a wider gamut, while CMYK colors are better suited for printing and can reproduce a wider variety of colors using ink combinations.
By submitting a file in RGB format, colors may appear different in print than on screen, resulting in a loss of quality and accuracy. For best results, it is important to convert the file to CMYK before submitting it for printing. This will help maintain color integrity and produce a final product that closely matches your original design.
It’s also worth noting that specialty inks are also available for custom playing cards. These specialty inks can add unique effects and finishes to your cards, enhancing their visual appeal and making them stand out even more. If you’re looking to add that extra touch of creativity to your cards, be sure to ask about the specialty ink options available.
Remember, for best printing results, always use the CMYK color mode for your custom playing card designs. This will ensure accurate color reproduction and maintain the quality of your final product. And don’t forget to explore the possibilities of specialty inks to take your cards to the next level!
We accept a variety of file formats to ensure a smooth and convenient process for submitting your art files. You can submit your artwork in the following formats: JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF, PSD, and AI.
While we can accommodate these different file formats, we do have a preferred format for art files, and that is PDF. Using PDF files helps ensure compatibility across systems and maintains the integrity of your artwork during the printing process.
There are many ways to send us your art files. The better way is uploading your files to Dropbox, Google Drive, or Wetransfer, and we will download them from there. You can also use our contact form on our website or send them directly via email. Whichever method you choose, you can rest assured that we’ll receive your files promptly and securely.
When preparing your art files, it’s important to consider resolution for optimal printing results. For perfect final print quality, we recommend that you save your image files at a resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch) or higher. This will ensure that the details of your artwork are crisp and clear when reproduced on the custom playing cards.
So remember to convert your artwork files to PDF, choose the appropriate resolution of 300 dpi or higher, and then send them to us via our contact form or by email. We can’t wait to see your artwork and bring it to life on your custom playing cards!

When it comes to choosing the perfect playing card stock, we offer a number of options to suit different preferences and needs. Let’s take a look at the characteristics of each type, including black core, linen finish, smooth finish, casino quality, and cardistry finish.
Black core papers are available in a variety of weights and finishes. For the cardistry finish black core, we offer options in 290GSM and 300GSM, while the casino quality black core is available in 300GSM, 310GSM and 330GSM. These materials feature a black core that increases the opacity of the cards, ensuring that no light can pass through.
Linen Finish is a popular choice. It replicates the texture and appearance of linen, providing extra friction and an easier grip. This not only increases the durability of the deck, but also prevents cards from sticking together during shuffling.
On the other hand, Smooth Finish provides a smooth and frictionless surface. It may not be as durable as a linen finish, but it offers a different tactile experience during play. Smooth finishes are particularly suitable for certain magic shows and work well with high-resolution artwork and text-sensitive materials.
For those looking for the ultimate in quality, our Casino Quality playing cards are designed to meet or exceed the rigorous standards of casino-grade cards. These cards are known for their exceptional durability, consistent dimensions, precise trimming, and high-quality printing. They are built to withstand heavy use and maintain a fresh feel over time, making them ideal for professional environments.
Last but not least, our Cardistry Finish offers a unique experience. These cards have a fine air cushion texture, similar to a bubble texture, applied to the surface. This texture allows for smoother shuffling and improves the overall smoothness and feel of the cards. While it has similarities to a linen finish, the air-cushion effect gives it a distinct feel and maneuverability.
By offering a variety of playing card paper materials, we aim to accommodate different preferences and provide options to meet different needs. Whether you are looking for durability, texture, smoothness, or a specific feel, we have the materials to bring your vision to life.
